If you’re self-publishing you’re going to need a bunch of other stuff besides just book editing. We have lots of amazing friends who work in the publishing field; we’re going to start adding resources to this page so you can find them better.

If you’ve decided to self-publish your book, all you really need is to have your manuscript formatted, and design a book cover. After that, you can upload to a print-on-demand service for distribution to all major bookstores. We recommend Lulu.com

Alternatively, put your book straight up with Draft2Digital, or upload everything yourself to KDP (kindle publishing)… I have some videos on that process here:

Book Cover Design

Getting your book cover design right is absolutely critical. Unfortunately, while many people offer the service, few designers actually know what it takes to create a cover that sells. That’s why, after a decade of designing hundreds of bestsellers, I set up my book design company that also offers book formatting. Competitive prices start at $349.
